Earlier I posted about a place in Italy and talked about how I wanted to find the photo I took of it, well I found it! Here it is:

On the back of the print I wrote, “2 prints of different exposures cut and stuck on each other” haha, such an intelligent way with words! But if you look closely you can see the edges overlap, basically I think I liked the way the clouds looked in one photo and the way the buildings looked in another photo, so I just decided to put them together to create the ultimate print of Piazza Salimbeni.

» Really neat.

Thanks to Photojojo’s tumblr I discovered Matt Sartain. From the tidbits I read in his blog he seems to me like a modern day Jerry Uelsmann, I like that. Even though I don’t usually care for digital manipulations I think this guy does it quite well, and I like the dreamlike qualities.

However, I don’t think I would call it “photography.”

This is done by friend Matt Shrier. If you enjoyed this as much as I do you can download the track here for free and others. Other wise you can listen to more here.

I also really enjoyed Sample Sampler.

“Sadly, she’s rarely judged on how good She is at recycling.”

I thought it was neat art work and very fitting. A fridge is a blank canvas to be decked out in magnets and children’s artwork (or your own if there are no children around to donate their art). I also made two other purchases for two of my favorite people.

Check out more of Allison Strine’s whimsical folk art magnets, pendants, and prints here.
